Strengths: Print quality ok and easy to install.
Weakness: This thing is the size of a washing machine. It's way too big for my office.
It was real inexpensive, but the toner costs a lot. And it only holds 125 sheets of paper, so I'm always refilling it. Otherwise, it beats inkjet, but not by much.
Strengths: I just purchased it. I have got a great deal. It includes one black catridge, 3 color catridge. Good looking, easy to install.
Weakness: It does not include a USB cable. If you don't have it, it could be expensive. It also have very few accessaries included, not like other photo printers.
I have not tested the printer so I can not see its printing quality. But I would guess it is good. It looks very good, a little bit heavy.

Strengths: Great black and color prints as you would come to expect for an HP printer. Cost per page is lower than inkjet.
Weakness: Slow initial start-up time and expensive replacement toner. Printer is large and somewhat loud.
This laser printer is a greater long term investment. It provides an excellent cost per page for color and black and white. However, the print quality may not be up to par compared to todays inkjet printers. In my case the pictures quality is good enough for me and of course the benefit is that it's smear proof.
