Strengths: Easy to install

Weakness: hard to find locally

So far so good: easy installation, printing is sharp with excellent fine lines. I always buy OEM cartridges. The compatible ones are not that sharp unless you find a really good one! Highly recommended!

Samsung SCX-4100 Toner

Strengths: Number of pages per cartridge is excellent

Weakness: Can not find easily

This is an older model for an All-In-Printer. It is hard to locate at local stores but easily obtained from multiple suppliers on the internet for excellent prices is purchased refurbished versus new.

Great Manufacturer's Cartridge

Strengths: Consistent, reliable, even prints. Drum & Toner combined.

Weakness: None

This is a great cartridge. I've used it for several months without any problems. It's said to have about a 3,000 page output. Even with ink saver on, it makes really great prints. It's amazing how light-weight it is considering it's both a drum and toner. You can replace both at the same time for a very affordable price. I can't think of any weaknesses or drawbacks to the cartridge.

Standard Drum and Toner

Strengths: Worked perfectly.

Weakness: None

The unit came with a special seal to clearly indicate it was distributed by Samsung. I installed the cartridge in an SCX-4100 without difficulty and have yet to experience any problems. Text is clear and sharp. There is no shadowing with dark images. The cartridge doesn't appear to produce any burn in smell.

Weakness: Price

Like other toners, this one is fairly hefty in terms of price. But it works fine. Be nice if they had a higher output version of the toner -- more than 3000 pages.. But simple, easy to use. Just like the printer.

Strengths: inexpensive and comes in new sealed box

Weakness: does not function as good as the original unit

This toner / drum came in as advertised in a new packaging but did not deliver the print quality as the original unit. The print was very light and it fades out toward the edges despite on dark print setting. I received an RMA from the vendor for a refund minus return shipping charge.

Samsung SCX 4100 - Would probably not buy again

Strengths: Compact, easy to operate

Weakness: Faded printing, envelope printing

Although printer works just well enough that I have not yet replaced it there are nagging issues. Print settings must be tweaked to minimize but not eliminate faded printing. This causes my having to print same document multiple times to obtain acceptable results. Even then it's not close to perfect. Low Cost per page

I used the Samsung SCX-4100 all-in-one at home to print and make copies from time to time. This toner last a long time using the toner saving setting. The last one lasted over one year. Great machine and tonner.

This is a great experience buying this toner cartridge via pricegrabber. I don't have to waste too much time checking the prices from different retailers. This SCX-4100D3 toner is easy to install and light-weighted. The printing quality is very good.
