Strengths: Fast, quiet, nice color output. Even on 'draft' mode the output is still pretty nice
Weakness: Cost of consumables (not bad though, you can buy refill kits for about half the cost), time to first page more than the 20 seconds claimed, when printing big jobs, stops every 100 pages to adjust.
The printer seems nice, it has handled everything I've thrown at it. The main thing is it stops to 'Adjust Registration' every 100 pages or so during larger print jobs, which takes about a minute or so. The only other downside I can think of the cost of consumables, but refilling looks like a viable solution. If you want a good quality printer I'd recommend buying it. The printer is speedy, QUIET...
Strengths: Fine Quality Printing with Fantastic Speed
Weakness: Consumables TOO EXPENSIVE!
I have owned this printer for less than 30 days. The specs claim that toner yield is up to 4000 pages with 5% coverage. I have purchased 2 Black Toner Cartridges, 1 Yellow, 1 Cyan, and 1 Magenta at a cost of $678 Cdn. since I have owned this printer. Today I must purchase a new Yellow Toner at a cost of $144 Cdn. I realize that usage varies, however my average printing coverage to date would be...
Strengths: Network Ready Color printing Less expensive compared to HP
Weakness: Drinks ink cartridges Noisy Print quality is not that good
I used this printer for 10 days and not happy about it. I could see a vertical line on the paper once it is printed and very noisy even if I don't use it. Drinks the cartridges like anything and the cartridge is very expensive. You should go for cheap refill kits. Returned and bought HP 3055
Strengths: Quick set up, easy use and fair quality
This is a very nice printer, comes with a lot of useful functions. Very easy to set up and ease to use. The printer quality is fairly good and fast printing speed. But for color printer, the results is litte rigid.
Strengths: less cost, very fast, Quick setup, easy to use, quite running...
Weakness: None
This fast printer can keep up with even the most frantic office workflow. I can print a full color presentation at 21 ppm, and still have time left for tweaks. Fast USB 2.0, Ethernet networking and optional wireless connectivity add efficiency and simplicity by allowing to plug into virtually any existing network. Exclusive Samsung NO NOIS print engine keeps the noise level at a low 50 dBA, while...
Strengths: attractive price, printing quality
Weakness: none
I bought this printer on a deal when there is a one hundred and fifty dollor rebate with it, so my total cost was less than $300. Compare to my old one (OKI CN series), i saved more than $200 bucks and comes with the same high quality printing. As everybody saying, the printer is just easy to use and staisfiy your small business requirement. I will give it a five star.
Strengths: Cycles up quickly to print in either color or black and white - Has fewer consumable parts than the Samsung 550N which was our prior printer
Weakness: The machine seems to need to warm up for color printing from a "cold start" - The first color print out is not very good
This machine replaces a Samsung 550N which we had for 18 months - We replaced the 550N because it was cheaper than buying a new Image Transfer Belt and OPC Drum for the old printer. The new printer is much faster because the paper moves past all four color cartriges in ONE pass. This unit works well with both our Windows XP computers and our Apple Power Books. Set up and networking of the printer...
Strengths: Relatively quiet, Fast, Quality not bad
Weakness: Toners are very expensive, limitation of toner to certain number of pages even though plenty of toner left in the cartridges, not so great quality printing
I have 50-50 opinions on this. Biggest positive thing being it is relatively quiet, prints fast, not so bad quality. The big downside - toner is expensive, and the toner is limited to certain pages and you will be surprised to know that there is plenty of toner left in the cartridges. No way, you can program it to use the leftover toner. Quality is not so great all things considered. It is a bit...
Strengths: Low initial cost, low running cost, above average prints, network-ready.
Weakness: Noise level audible even on standby
This is a good, affordable printer for general printing. The printouts are quick (about 20s to first page out) and the quality is good. At least as good as any color laser out there. If you're looking to print mainly photos, get a 6-color photo printer instead but for general graphics, it is more than acceptable. Running cost is about 2.5cents based on $100 toner rated at 4000 pages. One of my...

DO NOT replace the cartridges until the printer stops
Strengths: prints fast from the built in tray
Weakness: prints VERY slow from the bypass tray - poor quality photo printer
I have put 12 cartridges ($1500 worth) for 11,231 page output - incl. the 4 small cartridges included with the printer. About 15 cents ea page for toner. DO NOT REPLACE a cartridge until the printer STOPS printing - as you will waste ~25% of the cartridge... Where do I get refill kits for this machine???
