HP 460 is flimsy and unreliable
Strengths: compact size, lightweight
Weakness: print cartridges very difficult to install; printer case and cartridge mechanism are flimsy.
This printer set up OK out of the box; did not need the installation CD as Windows Vista already had the driver. Compared to other HP printers, the cartidges are very difficult to install - the angle has to be just right - after 20 attempts both cartridges were in. The printer printed one test page OK. On second page, it made a grinding noise and would not clear the faults per the manual. We are...
