Weakness: the compatible cartridge does not work
I bought the compatible cartridge won't work, first it is difficulty to use. You need to install the chip from the original cartridge onto these compatible cartridge. It only work a while, then the printer displayed a message saying it can not detect the remaining level of the ink and completely stoping printing.

Strengths: Easy to change cartridges, nice colors
Weakness: price! price! price! keeps go up!
All the Canon cli-8 ink is too expensive and the tanks are too small. The pricing for colors that can be purchased in 4 packs is better, but only the 8 packs have pm, and pc... Beware if you always buy the 8 pack, you'll have way too much red and green ink. Furthermore, many pixma cli printers do not use red and green, so the 8 pack is not an option for everybody.
