This printer dock works well with the EasyShare camera and is light wieght. The prints are of excellent quality and visually very good. The paper and ink are still rather high at $25. But the convenience is great!

TopStrengths: Great prints.
Weakness: Poor power design
I have had this printer for a couple of weeks now. The prints are of great quality, but the blasted thing does not power off (unless of course you unplug it). Kodak support is giving me the runaround, as one support person states that it is a defect and another states that it is a "feature" to remain on and that a power switch was not included in order to save on cost. They have also indicated that there will be no firmware update to resolve the issue. The camera dock that shipped with my camera does not have this problem. Has anyone else encountered this "feature"? Poor design and customer support!

TopStrengths: offers charging of my camera while printing photos
Weakness: very small on allows a 4x6 picture to be printed
Just what i wanted, I've already used the 10 photo print
paper that comes with the printer. This printer prints
picture perfect photos. I dont think there is ever going to be a need to take any film in for developing, or ever going to have a need for disposable cameras.

At first glance you might be won over by the looks of this printer from Kodak, but in fact it has many problems in ergonomics and a fundamental lack of flexibility. There's no LCD display for viewing photos, but there's a specific dock for receiving a Kodak camera. It's easy to see that Kodak's Easy Share technology is a closed circle.

Kodak Easyshare Printer Dock Plus
Strengths: Great picture quality, ease of use, compact, price.
Weakness: None.
We bought this with the Kodak LS753 and we love both products. The Printer Dock Plus prints GREAT pictures, color and print clarity are wonderful. It is easy to set up and use and the pictures come out in 60 seconds. We don't think it is expensive - although 40 prints cost about $24.99 (this is for the paper and the ink cartridge in a combo pack). We were spending more than that for film and developing and this way we only print the pictures that we really want. Before, we had poor quality pictures and now we have great pictures.
